Carol Gulliford is a British writer, whose debut thriller was released in 2024.
The idea for Behind the Lies came to her while walking alone in a quiet, deserted street without her phone, and wondering what would she do if someone started following her and there was nobody to help! With a vivid imagination, she scared herself by the time she returned home and the seed was planted for her very first story.

Carol's love affair with thrillers started as soon as she read her first Sidney Sheldon book and hasn't waned since. An avid reader to this day, she loves nothing more than an edge of your seat movie or a satisfying, twisty novel.

Carol lives on the South Coast of England with her long-term partner and son. She loves dogs, watching football, walking by the beach and live music.

Her first children's picture book The Popcorn Factory is now available in paperback and hardcover.
